The “Siamese Twins” NGC 4567 & 4568 in Virgo. I like this picture because it is very similar to a picture of these objects taken at Palomar Observatory that is shown in my copy of Burnham’s Celestial Handbook. Maybe Palomar would like to borrow my 8 inch. — taken in Borrego Springs, CA in 2012.

Rosette Nebula
This stacked photo was taken a few months ago using the Celestron EdgeHD 11 in the Fastar F1.9 configuration together with a QSI 583WSG camera in monochrome with an H alpha filter. It is a composite of 15 thirty second images and it was processed and colorized in Photoshop.
