Mosaic of the Cygnus Region of the Milky Way
This is a mosaic of 18 separate panels taken through an H-Alpha filter with the Rokinon 135mm f2.0 lens piggy backed on the Celestron C11 telescope. The solar disk is a stacked composite of 10000 images and the prominence is a composite of 1000 images taken with the 80mm Lunt Solar Scope and a video cam at 8 frames per second.

This was taken today with the Lunt 80mm solar telescope. The best of 10000 images were stacked. They were taken with a video cam at a rate of 8/second.
